The 7 Sins of Speaking

 

Here’s an interesting 10 minute video by Julian Treasure.

 

He first discusses the 7 sins of speaking – the bad habits we all fall into, that ultimately end up making it harder for people to listen to us.  He makes the case for the power of the human voice, and how by taking this for granted we can often become complacent and forget how to use it properly.

 

He then moves on to a more positive note and discuss four cornerstones of communication that we can all adopt and why they are so important.
